The Africa Group came into existence on June 2007 with the goal of providing as many children with an education, and improving/providing basic health to the people of Africa. TAG was founded by Zahid Wissanji (BA Honours International Development Study & Political Science, University of Toronto, 1996) and Ali Droliya (BComm. Marketing Management, Ryerson University, 2005). They manage TAG on a completely voluntary, non-remunerated basis.
